DZ Ecommerce ("we", "our") operates a platform for creating and managing an e-commerce store in Algeria, accessible through this website, the store editor, and the mobile app. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how to control it.
1. Data we collect
- Account and identity — name, phone number, email address, password (encrypted), store name.
- Store data — products, orders, customers, amounts, delivery and cash-on-delivery (COD) statuses.
- Delivery — name, phone, and address of end buyers, transmitted to our carrier partners (Yalidine, ZR Express) to generate labels and track parcels.
- Mobile app — push notification token, to alert you of new orders; the app requests neither contacts, nor location, nor camera/file access beyond explicit use (e.g. product photo).
- Usage and technical — pages visited, device, IP address, error logs, for security and service-improvement purposes.
2. Why we use this data
- To provide and operate your store and account.
- To process orders, confirmation calls, and deliveries.
- To send you notifications related to your store's activity.
- To keep the service secure and prevent fraud.
- To answer your support requests, with your consent for any marketing communication.
3. Data sharing
We sell no personal data. We share certain data only with:
- our delivery partners (Yalidine, ZR Express) for shipping orders;
- our hosting and technical-infrastructure providers, bound by confidentiality obligations;
- the competent authorities, where the law requires it.
4. Data retention
Data is kept as long as necessary to provide the service and meet our legal obligations (particularly accounting and commercial). After an account is deleted, personal data is deleted or anonymized, except where the law requires longer retention.
