There is no universally correct answer between home and stopdesk: the right answer depends on the wilaya, the product, and your observed return rate. Here's how to decide, zone by zone.
Start with data, not intuition
Before setting a per-wilaya delivery policy, look at your history: return rate, average lead time, real carrier cost. Wilayas far from Algiers often have a home-delivery return rate two to three times higher than stopdesk.
Home for impulse, stopdesk for distance
In big cities and for impulse purchases (fashion, accessories), home delivery converts better — the customer doesn't want to travel. In more remote wilayas or for higher-value products, stopdesk clearly reduces the refusal risk.
Algiers, Oran, Constantine: offer both, home by default.
Southern and inland wilayas: stopdesk by default, home as an option.
Products over 5,000 DZD: favor stopdesk to limit the risk.
